At Crown Republic, you won’t see traditional titles. And that’s because we don’t believe in the mechanised, formulaic workflow most restaurants seems to adhere to. Our kitchens aren’t full of robots completing the same task over and over until the day is done. Every member of the staff brings something unique to the team. And they’re all instrumental in the overall mission of making you the best damn food and drink of your life.

Meet the Mama behind “Mama’s Cookies!” A Native Cincinnatian, Haley grew up on a farm in Loveland. She left Ohio to go to Culinary school where she met her husband Anthony. Haley graduated with her Culinary Degree, along with Bachelor’s Degree in Foodservice Entrepreneurship. She worked her way around Rhode Island and Chicago before taking a back seat to raise her and Anthony’s two amazing sons. Haley knew that Cincinnati was not only a great place to raise a family, but with the evolving food scene, she was convinced Cincinnati was the perfect fit for Crown Republic. She loves to be face to face with our guests, so make sure you say “hi” and let her know how you like CRG!! Oh, and make sure to try her Mama's Cookies!
Anthony Sitek - Chef/proprietor
A full-blooded Italian with over a decade in the biz, Anthony’s palate tends to lean more mediterranean. Even so, he never wants to get comfortable cooking one style because, as he puts it, “the industry is constantly evolving, and I want to evolve with it.”
Though he first discovered his love for farm to table fair in Princeton, New Jersey at the Terra momo Restaurant Group, Anthony has worked with a number of talented chefs in restaurants in the Midwest and along the East Coast. From the four-star Apeiro Kitchen and Bar in South Florida, to Bobby Flay’s Bar Americain in New York City, Anthony has spent his time honing his culinary skills so he could finally share them with the city of Cincinnati.
